Horizon 2020 for Transport, Air Quality, Energy and Economic Growth
THE ISSUE project with Leicester City Council, De Montfort University, the University of Leicester and Nottingham University will be holding a FREE workshop on December 10th 2013 at Leicester’s Dock – Leicester’s new hub for high tech and innovation businesses - focusing on the funding opportunities under Horizon 2020. We will take a particular look at opportunities in Smart, Green and Integrated Transport, Energy Challenges, Air Quality and Economic Growth.
Selected topics that are relevant will be discussed in small working groups in order to identify specific project ideas that will support local authority goals and priorities, while at the same time identifying opportunities to apply for financial support.
Horizon 2020 is the new European funding programme that replaces the old Framework Programme 7 and contains many opportunities for applying for funding. The transport and energy topics alone have a budget over €12 million from 2014 until 2020.
This workshop is an opportunity for you to understand and discuss some of the relevant topics before the work programmes are even published and start identifying the specific areas you are interested in.
Date: 10th December 2013
Time: 10.00hrs - 14.00hrs
Location: Dock, Pioneer Park, Innovation Drive, Leicester, LE4 5NU
