Area Studies, International Development and Urban Studies

Research on area studies and international development are conducted through the University’s Centre for Urban Research on Austerity (CURA) and the Local Governance Research Centre (LGRC) with a particular focus on social movements, participatory governance, cultural revitalisation, creative and cultural studies, and work in Latin America.
