Courses and fees
We offer the following undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering:
All of our undergraduate Engineering courses are three years in duration (or four years with optional placement year) and start in September.
All postgraduate Engineering courses are either one year or 18 months in duration (or two years with an optional placement year) and start in either September or January.
Most of our courses offer you the opportunity to do a year-long placement in industry. Past students have undertaken placements with companies such as Hewlett-Packard (HP), Airbus UK and BMW.
If you are on a tier 4 visa and are approved to undertake a one year work placement, you will be granted a longer visa that includes the work placement.
However if you do not subsequently undertake a placement, we will curtail your visa which may have implications for any further Tier 4 visa applications. Any time added for work placements will contribute towards your time limit for studying in the UK.
