Work placements

Most of our courses offer you the opportunity to do a year-long placement in industry. Past students have undertaken placements with companies such as Hewlett-Packard (HP), Intel, Microsoft, Airbus Group and GlaxoSmithKline.

If you are on a tier 4 visa and are approved to undertake a one year work placement, you will be granted a longer visa that includes the work placement.

However if you do not subsequently undertake a placement, we will curtail your visa which may have implications for any further Tier 4 visa applications. Any time added for work placements will contribute towards your time limit for studying in the UK.
