Discover more about the four fields of nursing practice offered at De Montfort University

Nursing-main-1

Our nursing experience day is an exciting opportunity to explore each field of practice; Adult, Child, Learning Disability and Mental Health nursing in greater detail. Whether you have decided, or are yet to choose your future pathway, the day will better inform you about each programme area, examining the essential skills needed to succeed in your chosen careers and exploring the realities of studying and working as a student nurse.

The format for the day blends both practical demonstrations with information and support on everything from UCAS personal statement writing to preparing for interviews. You will hear from academics who teach on our nursing programmes and be provided with a platform to ask questions on key areas such as entry criteria, course placements and academic learning. Current nursing students will also be on hand to talk to you about life as a student nurse and help answer your questions on finance, accommodation, study skills plus much more.

There are no costs involved in attending the experience day and booking a place couldn't be easier. Simply click on the link below and complete your details and a member of the team will be in touch to confirm your place. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
