What is Mindfulness?
“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” ― Jon Kabat-Zinn,
Learning to focus on the here and now can help to improve concentration and regular mindful practice can boost our feelings of wellbeing, helping to manage the distractions in our day to day life.
Mindfulness is practiced by thousands of people around the world to reduce stress and support their wellbeing. If you are currently experiencing mental health concerns, mindfulness may not be appropriate for you at this time. Please seek advice from your GP or mental health professional before undertaking this session.
It’s usual to notice and experience a range of emotion when you are mindful. However, if you begin to feel very uncomfortable at any point during this session open your eyes and end your practice. If you need urgent assistance please follow the advice on this link
