Mentoring is one way we can learn by listening to other people’s experiences and applying them to our own lives. We can learn from a variety of sources in life, however mentoring is all about asking questions and finding out about what others have experienced and then using this to grow by thinking, speaking and acting differently.
At DMU we believe that mentoring can play an important role in student learning and development. It can be used to respond to different levels of need and it can help to address any challenges students might face whilst at university.
Mentors can be fellow students, DMU staff, alumni or people from industry so there is sure to be something which can help or interest you. For more information please click here
