Easy ways to start

It is easy to get more activity into your day. Walking is the easiest and cheapest way to get more active. Try leaving the car at home for short journeys or getting off the bus a stop early and walk part of your journey to campus. Walk up the stairs rather than take the lift.

Or why not plan some longer walks over the weekend? There are plenty of opportunities to do more walking in Leicester and the City Council are running Community Walks.
