Group General Counsel and Company Secretary, Acacium Group

Dan was appointed an independent governor in May 2019. He Chairs the Finance and Performance Committee.

Dan is a qualified solicitor, joining Acacium Group (a global healthcare and life sciences staffing and services business) as its General Counsel and Company Secretary in 2021. Prior to this, he held a number of senior legal roles across business, international law firms, and the UK Department of Health. 

Dan brings a wealth of board level experience in fast moving, high profile and highly regulated environments, with a focus on business development, reputation management, and promoting good governance. He has built a number of high performing and award-winning teams, and is passionate about developing junior lawyers, in particular from diverse or non-traditional backgrounds.

Daniel is a DMU alumnus, and credits the time spent studying for his Law Society Finals at DMU with having laid the foundation for his career.
