An invitation to work together and make a difference to students' experience with Freedom to Achieve

DMU-QBD 2016-842 main

As part of DMU’s Freedom to Achieve Project, we’re holding two exciting co-creation events which will involve staff and students working together to develop ideas and actions to close the Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic (BAME) student attainment gap.

You may be aware this attainment gap is well documented across UK Universities. DMU are part of a ground breaking project to positively address this issue.

We’d like to invite you to contribute to this project and help all DMU students establish their Freedom to Achieve.

Guest speakers on the day are Leicester based company MoBros – the moustache and beard grooming company recently seen on ‘Dragon’s Den’ receiving the largest investment ever from the ‘dragons’ since the programme’s inception. Watch their winning pitch here:

Come and join us in the Campus Centre and share your ideas.

Choose to attend either Monday 29 January 4.30 – 6.30pm or Thursday 1 February 12 – 2pm.

Food and drink will be served.

Please confirm your attendance by emailing YES Monday or YES Thursday to
