Graduation will always be one of the most special days of a student’s life and at DMU we work especially hard to ensure you have the most fantastic celebration to mark your achievements.
Students graduating this summer should have received their graduation invitation by now as they were posted out earlier this month. When you’ve received your invitation you can register your attendance and purchase up to two guest tickets for your graduation ceremony online.
You need to register your attendance with the graduations team by 5pm on Monday 21 May. You don’t have to wait until you get your final results before registering, do it as soon as possible, as if you don’t notify us and simply turn up on the day you won’t be able to graduate. Click here for information on how to reply to your invitation.
If you haven’t received your invitation by 18 April, please email the Graduation Helpline firstname.lastname@example.org.
Graduation Support Fund 2018
We recognise that sometimes students are unable to attend their graduation ceremony because they are unable to meet the cost of tickets for their guests and gown hire.
Students who are facing genuine and unavoidable hardship have the opportunity to submit an application to the Graduation Support Fund which will provide two guest tickets and gown hire for free.
If you are applying to the fund, you still need to register that you’ll be attending your graduation ceremony by 5pm on Monday 21 May. If you don’t register your attendance, your application for the support fund will not be considered.
More information on the Graduate Support Fund and how to apply can be found here.
The deadline for applying to the fund is 5pm on Monday 21 May.
Do remember that your connection to DMU is lifelong but to reap the benefits that our Alumni team can provide we need your permission to stay in touch due to new regulations. All you need to do is visit the MyDMU portal and click on the ‘stay connected’ tile.
