With revision underway and exams and final assessments approaching, DMU's Library and Learning Services (LLS) wants to help you study smart and stay healthy at this critical time in your studies.
Their Healthy Study campaign will run from Monday 9 April to Friday 18 May. During this period LLS will be offering help and support to students on:
- Refuelling and refreshing your study. It’s important to eat healthily, stay hydrated and take regular short breaks from your work
- How to revise and study effectively, including by using the resources and support on offer through LLS
- Find your space, the place that works for you from a choice of study spaces available on campus
- Techniques for de-stressing
Look out for the Library Night Trolley, coming soon to Kimberlin Library, dispensing free hot and cold drinks and fruit to help you refuel while studying at night. The friendly Night Trolley staff can take time out to chat to you and offer guidance and support on healthy study.
This week (9-13 April) is Exam Success Week when the Library will be running a programme of workshops to help with your revision and exam strategies. You can check out the full schedule of events here. A highlight is this new learning event:
On Tuesday 10 April, Paul Morrison, Education Segment Lead for Hewlett Packard will be taking part in The Mentor's Guide to...Managing Pressure at 1pm in the Learning Development Zone on the Ground Floor of Kimberlin Library. This is your chance to gain valuable advice and guidance from our Dare to Be mentors about managing pressure and coping with stressful situations.
