In partnership with De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU), DMU Sport are dedicated to supporting various local, regional and national campaigns and causes which benefit students. From social media campaigns, to sporting activities and charity days, the pair will work in collaboration with support from student volunteers.
BUCS This Girl Can is a week where universities are able to highlight the breadth of opportunities for women to get involved in sport during their time at university. Throughout the week DMUsport have managed to increase the number of females that partake in sport activity but we believe that sport for women is not just for a week, it is forever!
Female student & staff members at DMU can get involved in sporting activity throughout the whole academic year, whether it is just for fun or to play competitively, DMUsport have a range of opportunities.
