Internships are temporary positions with an emphasis on on-the-job training, they can be paid or unpaid. We deliver two internship schemes to DMU students and recent graduates, Frontrunners and Graduate Champions.

The schemes offer students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain quality work experience, enabling you to develop key skills that employers look for when recruiting graduates.

Current DMU students can apply for internships through the Frontrunners scheme and recent, eligible graduates can apply to our Graduate Champions Scheme.

The Frontrunners scheme offers you the opportunity to apply for paid internships working on real tasks, with current DMU employees. Its aim is to provide you with the opportunity to gain some key experience that will boost your CV when it comes to applying for graduate roles.

The next round of Internships will be starting on the 7th October 2019 and running for a total of 21 term weeks ending on the 20th March 2020. The positions will be for a maximum of 10 hours per week during term time only and are paid at the current living wage of £9 per hour.
