We would encourage all staff to ensure that you check and update your details on a regular basis. Some of the information is used by us anonymously to create the statutory HESA staff return, for more information about the HESA return, please see the HESA pages.
We also use the data anonymously to: shape the DMU equality objectives, create positive actions and, ensure that we are providing a supportive environment for all our staff. You can update your details in various ways;
Via the staff portal (using the ‘personal’ tab) which can be found here.
Via an equality form which can be emailed to the HR team or returned via post or to the Eric Wood reception.
If you are trans-sexual or trans-gender and wish to update your personal details you may do so confidentially via the staff portal. You may also email HREnquiries@dmu.ac.uk and confirm any changes you wish to make which will be processed in confidence. If you would prefer to visit HR, we are based in the Eric Wood Building on the first floor. There is a short change of details form for you to complete and sign, no further information will be required. We are happy to work with you to ensure that all of the notes in your staff file are appropriately changed to reflect your gender identity.
