English language

To be considered for a place at DMUIC you need to meet our standard of English Language requirements.  Our courses require an IELTS of 5.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 5.5 in every component. Our IYZ Pharmacy course requires an IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 6.0 in every component.

If you do not meet these English Language requirements, we can offer you a pre-sessional English course to be studied immediately before you enter the first/second stage of your chosen programme:

• If you have an IELTS 5.5 (with any component below 5.5), you will be offered a six week pre-sessional English course immediately preceding your entry to the programme.
• If you have IELTS 5.0 (with no component below 4.5), you will be offered a six week pre-sessional English course immediately preceding your entry to the programme.
• If you have IELTS 4.5 (with no component below 4.0), you will be offered a twelve week pre-Sessional English course immediately preceding your entry to the programme.
