Urgent support options
If you are in an emergency situation and need support call 999 now.
If you are in Leicestershire and have experienced a sexual assault or rape within the last 7 days please call Juniper Lodge for advice on 0116 273 3330 as soon as you are able to. If you are not in Leicestershire, you can find details of a local Sexual Assault referral centre near to your home via the NHS website.
Outside of DMU, UAVA offer residents of Leicestershire a helpline from 8-8 Monday to Saturday on 0808 80 200 28 and can advise regarding any aspect of recent or historic sexual violence, domestic violence or ‘honour’ abuse. UAVA can refer you to local specialist services tailored to your situation.
If you need urgent Mental Health support please follow the advice provided by our wellbeing team.
If you choose to contact the Mandala Project, our responders will discuss your options with you so that you can make decisions about the support you need. They can also outline your options to report to the police or make a formal report to DMU so that you can start internal disciplinary procedures if you decide that is what you would like to do.
