Student ID cards

I am new student starting my studies in 2020/21 

If you are a new student to DMU, once you have fully registered on your course, we will be posting student cards to UK term time addresses from 30th September 2020.  Your UK term time address must be the address you are living at on 5th October 2020, the one you provided on your online registration form.

I am an existing student continuing my studies in 2020/21

If you are a returning student and your card has expired, please email smartcards@dmu.ac.uk to request a new card. Please include your full name and student number. Your request will be placed on our waiting list, and your card will be posted out after 21st September 2020 to your term time address (where you will be living from 5th October 2020). Please ensure your term time address is up to date on MyDMU on the ‘Personal Information' tile.

I have lost my student ID card, what do I do?

If you have lost your student card, there is a £10 payment for a replacement.  Please visit the online store to order and make a payment – please note the university does not accept cash payments.  We will post your card to your UK term time address only, from 21st September 2020.  Please ensure your term time address is up to date on MyDMU on the 'Personal Information' tile.  There is no need to visit the Student Gateway to request your replacement card.

My student ID card has been stolen, what do I do?

If your student card has been stolen, please email smartcards@dmu.ac.uk to request a replacement card. Please include your full name, student number and the crime reference number the police have given you. Your request will be placed on our waiting list, and your card will be posted out after 21st September 2020 to your term time address (where you will be living from 5th October 2020). Please ensure your term time address is up to date on MyDMU on the ‘Personal Information' tile.
