Replacement student ID

If you need to replace your student ID/ Smart Card you can do so in person at the ASK Desk  in Student Gateway, ground floor Gateway House.

It is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.

If you are studying at an associate college, then you will need to visit your local student support office. Please consult your college for opening times.  

If you are not able to come in person, you can request a new card by contacting us by email

There is a  charge of £10 and replacement cards are normally produced on the spot whilst you wait - please note:  the university does not accept cash payments . Please allow for postage and delivery time if you are studying at an associate college.
