The Student Administrative Support Division (SASD) is responsible for a large number of student-based processes. Our main areas of activity are:
Examinations – we organise all of De Montfort University's official written examinations in Leicester and at partner colleges. This includes the scheduling of examinations, invigilation arrangements and the provision of individual examination arrangements for students requiring extra support.
Academic awards – we are responsible for the conferment of student academic awards, graduation ceremonies and provision of replacement certificates.
Student records – including reference requests, confirmation of award letters and transcripts.
Registration - we are responsible for co-ordinating centralised activities as part of the registration and re-registration processes. This includes student communications regarding registration, running the Registration Triage Team during main registration periods and the production of ID cards. The Student Gateway front counter in Gateway House is open Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm.
