As part of ongoing improvements to campus buildings the entrance of Gateway House is due to be revamped next month.
Renovation work to the front entrance of the building is planned to begin on Monday 3 June and should be completed by Friday 30 August. Access to both the building and car park will be affected during this time.
The existing car park is set be remodelled and landscaped which will mean that there will be no access to existing disabled parking spaces. New disabled car parking spaces will be made available at the rear of Gateway House in June.
Hoardings will be put up around the entrance of Gateway House to keep disruption to a minimum and alternative access arrangements will be in place. The proposed Site Plan, with information regarding the pedestrian route to the temporary main entrance, new disabled parking and cycle storage can be viewed below.
Due to the nature of the works, certain areas will be affected by noise levels. Faculties have been informed to make alternative arrangements. Apologies for any inconvenience caused - we will work with the contractor to minimise disruption as much as possible.
