Ahead of the launch in May and before the centre opens its doors to the public, we’re inviting staff and students to view and experience the Stephen Lawrence exhibition and collection of personal artefacts that are housed in the SLRC.
The exhibition powerfully illustrates the profound effect that Stephen Lawrence’s shocking murder and his family’s extraordinary 25-year fight for justice have had on British society and history.
Exhibition hours are Wednesdays 1-3pm and Thursdays 3-5pm. During this time students and staff are invited to drop-in to the centre and experience this inspirational legacy.
In addition to these opening hours, the centre is also available to host private tours and events for groups of staff and students. If you would like to book a private tour please contact us at slrc@dmu.ac.uk.
