Join DMU Music for their 2019 concert series


DMU Music are looking for student and staff musicians who would like to join the DMU Orchestra for the first concert of 2019.

 

The concert will take place on Saturday 2 February in the magnificent surroundings of the Church of St. James the Greater.

The February concert will be conducted by DMU Orchestra Musical Director and Philharmonia Orchestra Violinist Adrian Varela.

The concert programme features both the DMU Orchestra and DMU Chorus performing works by Haydn, Monteverdi, Handel and concluding with Mozart’s greatest symphonic achievement – his Symphony No.41 ‘Jupiter’.

As part of the rehearsal programme, student and staff musicians will be able to work with, learn from and even perform with world-class musicians from our partners the Philharmonia Orchestra.

Monteverdi: 'Beatus Vir' with DMU Chamber Choir

Haydn: 'Insanae at Vanae Curae' with DMU Chorus
