Our flexible venue can accommodate up to 500 people cabaret style or can be easily adapted to reduce the room size if a more intimate gathering is required. The Venue@DMU can be decorated and styled according to your personal theme and our in-house technical team will work with you to create the perfect atmosphere. From disco balls and colour themed lighting to speeches and mood music, we’ve got it covered!
Our chefs prepare all food onsite using fresh, seasonal ingredients to ensure delicious menus are a key part of your event. We’ve created a selection of food and drink packages to get you started but understand that food can be a personal experience and offer you the flexibility to adapt the menus to perfectly suit your day.
Our location offers many benefits to help make organising your day a little easier. From the picturesque Castle Gardens on our doorstep providing the perfect backdrop for photographs to being just a few minutes from the city centre and several hotels, The Venue@DMU is the perfect location for any special occasion.
Private Dining
Whether it’s dining with your loved ones ahead of the big day or breakfast the following morning, we can offer a private dining facility in the stunning setting of the original medieval chapel in our Trinity House Building. The chapel offers a luxurious ambience and dining experience; creating truly unique memories for you and your guests.
Micro Weddings and Celebrations
We've developed a special package which allows you to enjoy an intimate celebration with your nearest and dearest. Our micro wedding and celebration package has been designed with you in mind, for a relaxed and enjoyable day.
