International Relations and Politics

Our International Relations and Politics courses are designed to develop practical skills in research, analysis, negotiation and communication which are all vital to a range of career paths upon graduation.

Our students have put theory into practice in placements with local, national and global companies, including: Rolls-Royce, GlaxoSmithKline, Heathrow Airport and the House of Commons and the Government Economic Service (GES). While our career enhancing #DMUglobal initiative has seen students develop their knowledge of the Cold War in Berlin and experience the buzz of the American Presidential Election first-hand on a trip to Washington DC.

It is no wonder 96.8 per cent of our Business and Law graduates from summer 2017 are in work or further study after graduating, according to the latest Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) 2016-17 report.
