DMU for Life webinar series

The DMU for Life Advancement team has launched a new series of webinars, livestreamed through our YouTube channel, offering viewers the professional and business focused insights of our alumni and associates.

Premiering in August with 'digital communication tactics in the new normal' from guest speaker Bob Spence, the series will continue to address a variety of topics including career advice, adapting business practices to deal with COVID-19 and methods of personal development.

The next broadcast will take place on Wednesday 16 September with a discussion of 'self-leadership for success' by De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) MBA alumnus Roberto Dal Corso.  He will examine the following key skills required for individuals to succeed against adversity and how to apply these in practical situations:

1) Critical skills for effective self-leadership while working from home, dealing with distractions, and coping with unprecedented change.

2) How to develop a mindset to ensure you have the focus and clarity to manage yourself when working in a different environment.

3) Why self-leadership needs to be encouraged and supported more than ever before.
