The philanthropic support of businesses and organisations is hugely appreciated by DMU, helping us fund research, facilities and scholarships in a way that can provide tax efficiencies for your business. As a company, supporting DMU offers a chance to support and collaborate with a University at the forefront of promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals –we are the only ADG Hub in the UK, and the Worldwide hub for SDG 16 ‘Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions’. Providing philanthropic support also offers the benefit of securing a prominent role when looking to attract DMUs talented and diverse graduates to the workforce.

Employers, as well as directly gifting support of funding and/or resources, can also help through facilitating payroll giving to allow employees to donate tax-free, and supporting matching gifts from members of staff who give to charity, boosting the impact of their initial donation. The Enterprise and Business Services Team

The Development & Alumni team also work closely with the Enterprise and Business Services team. They act as a link between your organisation and the university academic and research staff. They focus on building relationships with organisations of all kinds, and play a pivotal role in diagnosing problems, identifying needs, and advising on the most appropriate solution. They have worked with Companies ranging from IBM and Barclays, through to local Leicestershire businesses on a wide range of projects ranging from delivering specific training modules; carbon literacy training and carbon audits; through to how best to attract and retain diverse talent to your business.
