Your line manager is a good person to start a conversation with regarding any flexible working requirements you may need.

  • Maternity, Paternity, adoption and Shared Leave

The School wants to ensure all staff feel supported when taking maternity, paternity, adoption and/or shared parental leave. Please have a chat with your line manager about the kind of support the School can put in place for you during such a time e.g. flexible working or a change to your working pattern. You may also wish to form a “buddy” relationship with a member of staff who has taken the relevant leave and learn from their experiences – your line manager or the Head of School will help put you in touch with such a person.

DMU has a tax free childcare voucher scheme that you can access as a member of staff.
