Empowering Students through Effective Feedback: Assessment and Feedback Seminar

This HEA Assessment and Feedback Seminar was held at De Montfort University on 10 May 2011 between 10.30am - 3.30pm.  It was a highly participatory day attended by over 45 delegates.  Of the 18 external delegates one had travelled from Scotland.

Student Perspectives on effective feedback 
This session provided valuable perspectives on effective feedback from a panel of 9 home and international students. Delegates were invited to ask the panel questions on a number of issues including feedback at undergraduate and postgraduate level; the use of peer generated feedback; transfer and use of knowledge derived from feedback; summative feedback; the future of feedback.
