Our Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Department can provide cholesterol tests, blood pressure, resting pulse rate, fat analysis/body mass index, lung function tests, allergy and dermatitis checks, audiometry and general health discussions, free of charge to all employees.
Personal healthcare scheme
When you start your role with us you'll have the opportunity to join, at your own cost, the British Universities Private Medical Insurance Plan. If you do so within 30 days, you'll be accepted with no personal medical exclusions. You may join after this time, but pre-existing medical conditions will be excluded for the first two years.
Sports centre discount
As an employee of DMU you can take out 12 months' membership of the QEII Leisure Centre at a reduced rate. On offer are a wide range of leisure and recreational facilities and activities for all students and staff to participate in regardless of ability.If you want to pursue sport, at whatever level, then we provide superb opportunities.
