As part of this year's Black History Month programme:

30 Black Teachers, 30 Stories

'Leicester City NEU celebrates ‘30 Black teachers and their journeys’ as part of the National commemoration of thirty years since the introduction of Black Teachers Sections in the Legacy National Union of Teachers (NUT). The exhibition consists of a photography showcase, archiving the journeys of prominent Black educators in Leicester and telling their stories to mark the celebration and inspire young people in Leicester.

This vision was brought to life by the lead arts co-ordinator Georgina Payne, Nigerian Fashion Editorial photographer MaryAnn Ezeh, and local educators Julie Walters-Nisbet and Camille London-Myo to highlight the presence of Black educators within Leicester.'
