Join the DMU Heritage Centre Team as we share the history of our campus. Now Leicester Castle Business School, the Great Hall was built in the 12th century and is the oldest surviving aisled and bay divided timber hall in Britain. It has accommodated many illustrious visitors including Richard III, hosted Parliament in the 14th and 15th centuries and was the scene for Leicester’s notorious ‘Green Bicycle Mystery’ trial.
