Fitness classes

Our programme of classes is designed to offer a wide variety of sessions to suit most users in a social setting. All classes must be booked in advance and can be done at reception or through our online booking system. 

Please ensure that you cancel any classes you are no longer able to attend as there is a fine system in place. Non-members are only able to book 24 hours in advance of classes.

Classes cost £4 for non-members, Gold and Silver members can book classes according to their membership product.

Class descriptions


A mix of high and low intensity aerobic moves designed to improve general fitness and coordination with floor work to strengthen your core. A complete body workout aimed at all. Bored with a gym workout? Then gives this class a go.

All over workout

An effective class that combines fat burning and muscle toning exercises using various equipment to achieve all over results.

Aqua aerobics

A water based aerobic workout that supports your muscles and joints whilst you have fun!

Ballet Burn

A fast paced class using ballet inspired movement to tone up and strengthen the body.  Be prepared to work hard, point those toes, and enjoy a ballet styled work out!

Body blitz

A non-impact barbell class that delivers real results real fast. The class incorporates the use of light weights with high repetitions and is set to a motivating beat to help you stay the pace to reach your goals of a stronger, leaner body.

Body conditioning

A class designed to focus on all those jiggly bits that wobble. Using controlled exercises to tone and firm areas from triceps to abdominals to make the body beach ready in next to no time.

Boxing Fit

A complete all body workout developed to combine martial arts, cardiovascular and strengthening workout, with strong emphasis on effective and safe physical execution. With its addictive energy and music, it's a great cardio workout for all and a great way to release stress from the day.


A dynamic class which alternates high-intensity aerobic stations with muscle resistance stations. Aimed at improving cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone. Get your heart pumping and your body moving. No coordination required, suitable for all levels.


Challenging your muscles in different ways to burn fat, tone muscle, build core strength and improve your agility and endurance. This class is mixing and matching a range of fitness genres; cardio, weights, bands and pilates to provide a fast effective workout in one session.


HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods.


Prepare to be put through your paces. Get ready to push past your limits with Insanity's mixture of drills, plyometrics, strength, and core exercises. You'll need to bring a towel, water and a lot of determination. 


Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic movements which target almost every aspect of fitness, endurance, strength, balance and agility. Kettlebells can work many different muscle groups within a single workout and are suitable for all ages and abilities.

Legs, bums and tums

This class will work the body's most common trouble spots. Train the core and lower body for increased strength and muscle tone through free-standing exercise and floor work.

Mind & Mobility

A class designed to start your day off right! Encouraging the relaxation of your mind and increasing your mobility. Focusing on building a combination of core strength, flexibility, and the ability to relax into shapes and stretches.


A specific style of exercise which aims to improve posture, flexibility and help reduce back and neck pain. Re-balances and re-aligns your body while developing longer, leaner muscles - a great stress buster.


PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. And, we crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.


A cardiovascular workout for all levels of fitness using stationary cycles in a motivating class environment. Do away with rainy roads and enjoy the ride of your life from the comfort of indoors.


An intense 30 minutes spinning workout finished off with a 15 minutes abdominal workout.

Step aerobics

Steppers: prepare for a class that is loaded with combinations to physically challenge and mentally stimulate you. The basic choreography allows you to work harder, think less and sweat more.


This class is designed to allow you to flow through different shapes, challenging balance, flexibility, and strength.


Total Abs

Total Abs concentrates on your abdomen muscles. It helps to tighten and tone your tummy and strengthen your lower back giving you a flatter, firmer figure.


The TRX suspension trainer uses bodyweight exercises to develop balance, core stability, flexibility and strength simultaneously.  You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself - just adjust your bodyweight to add or decrease your resistance!


A Latin American dance craze which burns calories for fun! Enjoy a social environment to move your body to Latino sounds with like minded people.
