The Venue@DMU was created to host spectacular events, performances and celebrations. We hold all our graduation ceremonies here, giving students the kind of send-off their efforts deserve, using full, professional lighting, powerful sound and creative staging. Each graduate gets their moment in the spotlight, in front of friends and family.
DMU invested £5 million transforming the building. Its polished wooden floors, retractable bleacher-style seating and full lighting and sound rigs make it adaptable to any kind of celebration.
The university also uses it for matriculations and welcome events for new students, and for award ceremonies. Upstairs there is a series of smart modern meeting rooms and a kitchen. The Venue@DMU can be hired for private bookings, too.
