Making a significant contribution to environmental sustainability
Edith Murphy House, Hugh Aston Building and Gateway House
We have installed new solar panels in three campus buildings, helping us to meet our sustainability commitments, and reduce our carbon emissions by 56 tonnes of CO2 per year. They will not only generate electricity to run the buildings but we are also able to sell any surplus to generate income.
Kimberlin Library
We replaced the air handling unit to provide much improved environmental conditions within the Library.
