PhD project

Title

Web User Interface Research in Mixed Reality

Abstract

My research starts with researching the HoloLens user interface (UI) technical detail and its limitation. Considered various diversity in billions of websites on the Internet, the research focuses on the website on the WordPress platform at the initial stage and moves to other general web platforms gradually. We will analyze the structure and layout of websites and discuss the possibility of improving the UI in HoloLens. By analyzing the research data, this project will illustrate a general UI principle of improving the current web page layout to fit with the Mixed Reality(MR) platform without major back-end adjustment in the original website. We expect our research can be applied to various websites but not limited to WordPress and become the most efficient way to transfer web service to HoloLens.
