Personal profile

I worked on cable access network design as well as radio and satellite based rural network projects.  As most networks go mobile and IP based, I studied client server and peer-to-peer networks and their infrastructures.  Currently, I am using multi-layer approaches to improve video streaming performance.

Research interests/expertise

My research interests include access networks and switching systems, communication electronics, communication protocols, client server architecture and peer-to-peer networks.  I am also interested in multidisciplinary research.
