Personal profile

Dr. Fuad Khoshnaw received PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University, UK, in 2010.

He studied Metallurgical Engineering BSc in 1986 at the Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq, from where he received his MSc in 1991 and PhD in 1995.

He worked as Lecturer and Associate Professor between 1996 to 2004, at Salahaddin University, Hawler, Kurdistan-Iraq, and in 2004‐2005, he was a Chevening scholar at the Centre for Scientific Enterprise, London. Between 2010 and 2016 he worked as Professor of Materials and Manufacturing and also as a Dean of Faculty of Engineering at Koya University, Kurdistan Iraq.

In June 2018 He joined DMU as Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development. He has published more than 25 papers in different international journals and conferences in the fields of material science, welding, fracture mechanics and corrosion engineering.
