Personal profile

Dr. Fuad Khoshnaw received PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Loughborough University, UK, in 2010. He was a Chevening scholar to do MBA course at London Business School in 2005. He studied Production and Metallurgical Engineering BSc in 1986 at the Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq, from where he received his MSc in 1991 and PhD in 1995.

From 2010 to  2016 he worked as a Professor of Materials and Manufacturing and also as the Dean of Faculty of Engineering at Koya University, Kurdistan. Before that, from 1996 to 2004, He worked as Lecturer/Associate Professor at Salahaddin University, Hawler, Kurdistan-Iraq. 

In June 2018 He joined DMU as Senior Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development. He has published more than 30  papers in different international journals and conferences in the fields of metallurgy, welding, powder technology, fracture mechanics and corrosion.
