Mr Paschal Gumadwong-Bagonza

Paschal started out as a media practitioner in his country of origin. This was in addition to volunteering as a Counsellor/ Social Worker with marginalised group/s in his country. Paschal has volunteered with a number of charities in the UK. He has also volunteered with UN (online). Generally, he describes himself as a person of diverse professional backgrounds. He was granted a fees-only scholarship by DMU to pursue doctoral studies in forcibly displaced queer persons. His research project explores the lived and embodied experiences of queer asylum seekers and refugees in the UK. Paschal is also a visiting/associate lecturer in Social Work.
