Personal profile

Dr Bower’s research interests encompass the two-way interactions between sleep and emotional responding, particularly in response to positive stimuli. She is interested in how changes in sleep duration, timing, and quality can impact our well-being, through changing how we respond to emotional events. Dr Bower is also interested in how our use of electronic media (e.g., social media, computers, mobile phones, TV) can influence sleep quality and timing.
