Qualified social worker since 1981. Experienced children and families and child protection social worker. Qualified practice educator, with experience of delivering practice educator training and development programmes. Social work education expertise: teaching, programme development and management. Development, delivery and management of post qualifying and continuing professional development programmes.

Experienced external examiner. Head of Division for Social Work & Health Studies: managing portfolio of provision, including Social Work, Health Studies and Sociology degrees; Foundation Degree in Children, Families & Community Health; Leadership & Management; Clinically Led Commissioning and Medical Education.
