Personal profile

Dr Beth Rogoyski is currently the Deputy Programme Leader for the BSc Biomedical Sciences programme. She joined DMU in 2019 as a Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences, and now teaches across a number of different programmes in the School. Dr Rogoyski obtained her PhD from the University of Leicester in Cancer Research and Prevention, having previously studied Medical Genetics, Biomedical Science and Translational Medicine. Her research experience and interest are similarly focussed, covering chemoprevention, drug repurposing and discovery, and genetics of drug response.

Dr Rogoyski is also a keen and award-winning science artist and communicator, having written several international interest pieces and presented research around the world. Her current teaching covers biochemistry, genetics, anatomy and physiology, cancer, scientific writing, and research skills.
