Zoi is a Lecturer in Law and joined De Monfort University in September 2019. She is also a doctoral researcher at the University of Reading where she is writing her Thesis on online intermediaries’ liability for copyright and trade mark infringements. Zoi holds an LLM with specialization in European Commercial Law from the University of Freiburg and an LLB from Democritus University of Thrace.
Prior to joining De Monfort University, Zoi worked as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Reading where she was the Module Convenor for Internet Law at the LLM programme (2018-2019). In 2015, she completed a bluebook traineeship at the European Commission, at the Cabinet of the Commissioner for Migration and Home Affairs. Since 2012, she has been a member of the Athens Bar Association and worked as a lawyer in commercial and intellectual property law cases.
Zoi’s main research interests lie in the field of Information Technology law, Copyright and Trade mark law. In particular, she is interested in ISSPs’ regulatory framework, online copyright and trade mark infringements as well as the protection of Internet users’ rights.
