Dr Sergey Sosnovskikh joined Leicester Castle Business School as a Lecturer in Business and Management in September 2019. Previously, he worked at the University of Greenwich and Ural Federal University teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate modules including international business, economics, research methods, marketing, and business ethics. In 2018, Sergey completed his PhD degree at the University of Greenwich (London, UK) investigating the development of special economic zones and industrial parks in Russia. Along with the doctoral degree, he holds MSc degree in International Management from the University of Roehampton (London, UK), BSc degree in International Economics from the Ural Federal University (Ekaterinburg, Russia), and BA degree in Teaching Foreign Languages from the Ural State Pedagogical University (Ekaterinburg, Russia). He is also an Associate Fellow at the Higher Education Academy of the UK. Sergey has very diverse experience working in leading companies of different industry sectors, including banking, maritime transport, investor relations, construction, and public services. He conducted consultancy projects for the government and private companies both in the UK and Russia. Sergey regularly participates in various international conferences. He also peer-reviewed articles in academic journals such as the Asia Europe Journal, Post-Communist Economies, and Journal of Economics and Economic Education Research.
