Philip is a Practising Advanced County Court Advocate (Solicitor's Agent) and is regularly instructed on a range of matters in the County Court. Philip is beginning to specialise in small claim work and has successfully acted for claimants and defendants in actions under the Consumer Rights Act and in general contract law disputes.
Philip also acts for Students in relation to University Fitness to Practice proceedings, he specialises in Student Nurses operating in line with NMC criteria.
Philip also sits as a Justice of the Peace for England and Wales, having been appointed to the Bench by the Lord Chief Justice in January 2017. He sits in the Criminal Jurisdiction and deals with a number of actions brought by the CPS, Police, and other prosecuting authorities. He is also permitted to sit as a Single Justice in the specialist Search Warrant Court.
Outside of the law, Philip enjoys walks, canoeing and karaoke.
