Personal profile

Omo Adeola-Omole is an academic with speciality within the field of Economics and Business Management. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her previous working experience includes the Royal Bank of Scotland, British Telecom and Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.

Omo completed her MSc and PhD at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen and her undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research interests lies in the area of Entrepreneurship/Small Business, Infrastructure/ Information Technology and Regional development ranging from theory to modelling and simulation. In recent years, she has focussed on empirical studies in developing economies. She collaborates with researchers in other disciplines particularly accounting and finance relating to corporate governance. She currently supervises a number of PhD students. Omo has won a few awards including the Scottish overseas research students award by the Scottish government.
