After spending 12 years at Cass Business School teaching/leading on professional development modules across the postgrdauate portfolio, Leena joined Leicester Castle Business School in October 2017 as Head of Leadership Education. In this role she was tasked with designing/teaching and marking leadership development and professional modules with live project briefs. She currently teaches on business and professional development modules throughout the academic year.
In June 2020 Leena took on the role of Head of Professional Development for Leicester Castle Business School and with this a wider remit for leading the employabillity strategy for the undergradute and postgraduate portfolio in the business school. In addition to teaching responsibilities this role also involves module and assessment design, cosultations with students, external stakeholders and partnership working with colleagues across the university to embed employability into the curriculum.
Leena draws on a wealth of experience from her talent development background gained across the private, public, not for profit sectors and within HE. Leena has designed and delivered high quality professional development modules for world leading business schools and is passionate about closing the gap between university and the workplace. She leads the flagship Executive Company Project module, chairs the faculty employability working group and teaches on a number of MBA & MSc Professional Development Programmes. Leena has a PG Cert in Coaching (Distinction) and holds a number of professional qualifications. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, a qualified executive career coach accredited by the Association of Coaching and a certified strengths based coaching and interviewing practitioner.
