Research interests/expertise

Leanne researches on widening participation and opportunity in HE with a focus on access for working class students, commuting students and care leavers. In wider society Leanne writes on social exclusion, media representations of class, the 'underclass', defining class, class identity, political apathy and disconnect, social mobility and social capital.
