Personal profile

Jingsi Leng is a lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Leicester Business School. Before joining DMU, she was awarded a PhD in Finance from the University of Hull where she examined the dividend policy in the UK context and its interaction with corporate governance and corporate insolvency.

Research interests/expertise

Jingsi’s main research interests are within the areas of corporate finance and corporate governance. She is also interested in development in emerging capital market and market inefficiency. While Jingsi’s research focuses on the determinants on dividend policy in business, she also incorporates corporate governance features and tries to provide advice as in protecting stakeholders’ benefits in general. Moreover, Jingsi is interested in the initial public offering (IPO) and seasoned equity offering (SEO) in emerging market. She has taken actions to investigate how the regulation changes affect the development of primary market in China.
