Personal profile

Hulya is one of the directors BusinessWorks.   Jointly set up with R. Bradshaw and now embedded within the curriculum, BusinessWorks, is a unit designed to enable final year under-graduate students to acquire degree-relevant work experience, while studying at DMU.

In March 2015  BusinessWorks was shortlisted for the Guardian University Awards 2015 in the employability category and came second nationally at this prestigious event.

Hulya is currently leading international programme provision, as Link Tutor for De Montfort University’s taught delivery in Denmark, by Copenhagen Niels Brock Business College.  This covers oversight for three programmes: the BA (Honours) in Business Administration, the MSc International Business and Management programme; and the Graduate Certificate in International Business (Pre-Master).

As a principal lecturer, Hulya teaches both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  Current subjects taught include, BusinessWorks (Student Employability), Dissertation Skills, Research Methodology.   Past subjects taught included Knowledge Management and Globalisation as well as Strategic Management.
